Federica Bordoni
I am Federica Bordoni (but you can call me FeBò).
I am an illustrator and visual designer based in Trento, Italy.
I like to define myself as a visual translator: my mission as an illustrator is to make the invisible visible.
My process begins with deep thought and research, transforming complex concepts into concise, dreamlike visual metaphors.
I believe that illustration is a universal language capable of building bridges between different worlds, from technology and activism to our inner selves. For me, being an illustrator is a way to constantly connect with new realities: every commission is a window into a different universe and a precious opportunity to learn something new about a wide range of subjects.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of lending my vision to international publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Boston Globe, as well as collaborating with various publishers and companies on editorial projects and brand identities.
For me, every project is an opportunity to create an image that is not just looked at, but "felt."
