Adrià Fruitós

Today Adrià is based in Marseille, France, where he makes illustrations for the international press. He has attended La Massana in Barcelona and HEAR of Strasbourg in France. His approach to a variety of social, political and economic topics draws inspiration from the collective imagination. His illustrations are loaded with symbolism, mixing elements to create conceptual images that convey a powerful message. The fast pace of working for newspapers, magazines and media represents an exciting challenge for him.

He uses the images or icons that immediately come to mind for the topic, which will summarize and synthesize the subject. Often the simple combination of these images can create a conceptual illustration. Adrià always tries to have a funny but strong message and, if possible, to create engaged images to convey a political positive message.

He works with : Time Magazine · Le Monde · Courrier International · Le Monde Diplomatique · The New York Times · The New Yorker · Los Angeles Times · The New Republic · Mother Jones Magazine · Wired Magazine · The Boston Globe · The Washington Post · ProPublica · Harper’s Magazine · Politico
