A native Texan, Linda Helton has been a graphic designer and illustrator since 1982. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1981 with a BFA in Design Communication. After working as a designer at several design firms for 10 years, Linda began freelancing in 1992. In 1996, she started doing illustration exclusively. Over the years, Linda has designed and illustrated everything form annual reports to magazine articles to children's books.

Linda's design and illustration work has been recognized in Communication Arts magazine, the Society of Illustrators Show, PRINT magazine, American Illustration and the AIGA Communication Graphics Show. In 2008, her work was included in a 30-year alumni retrospective show at Texas Tech University.

Linda lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and adorable bulldog Emma.
