CARMEN SEGOVIA was born Barcelona, Spain, in 1978. After a first period of cinema and theatre studies, she definitely get oriented towards painting and illustration. Carmen Segovia contributes today to prestigious newspapers and agencies, while regularly signing picture books with international scene publishers. Each book and story is for her the occasion to create a singular and exclusive visual world. She also collaborates with bands and music projects. Her work as an illustrator and author has been awarded internationaly and also has been featured in Society of Illustrators 49, American Illustration 27, Workbook, Bologna Fiction Annual. Her painting and illustration work has been exhibited in international fairs and galleries.
