AGATA "ENDO" NOWICKA

Agata has been drawing since the age of 2 and even then insisted on drawing women, mostly. After her first ecounter with Microsoft Paint program in 1990 Agata went to art school in Gdynia, Poland which she graduated from in 1995. The gap year took five years of travel, trying different jobs and hoping to become a comic artist. Upon moving to Warsaw in 2001, together with her friends Agata established the first comic blog in Poland and perhaps in the entire Universe - komix.blog.pl. Since then she has become a successful illustrator. She decided to stick to the roots and draws mostly in MS Paint, enjoying the roughness of the pixelated lines. She published her first comic book in 2006 and is currently working on a new one. Agata lives in Warsaw, where she's juggling being a mother, a girlfriend, a creative director for two magazines (Exklusiv and Gaga), a comic artist, an illustrator and a devoted (net)surfer.
